Dark Grey

The Burr snap coat is a piece from Kiko Kostadinov's 00042018 Spring/Summer 2018 collection. In a way that is emblematic of Kostadinov's work, the wearer is provided with innovative and unexpected ways to style, interface, and shape the piece. It features button-in darts that lie on the front torso that can alter the shape and fit of the piece depending on how they're done up. Next to the darts are slits that lead to pockets and also open directly to the interior of the coat. On the runway, the sleeves of an accompanying jumpsuit emerge from these slits and tie at the waist, providing a visual break in the long silhouette, cinching the waist in, and letting the punchy lime yellow of the jumpsuit feel more integrated and 'interwoven' as it threads in and out of the coat. In this way, the Burr not only functions as a great standalone piece but can also idiosyncratically 'tie-in' with others in the collection. 

9/10 Condition, with no signs of wear. Tiny holes in the collar tag from tags being repinned.
